The Change Management in an Environment of Selected Sports Organizations

Bachelor thesis deals with the application of change management - management changes for selected sports organizations hockey club Zvolen. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the general theory of change management, different procedures and evaluation of the administrative process of change management in the organization. Part of this work is the analysis of the current state of HKM Zvolen, description of the organization as a whole and in the light of theoretical knowledge proposal innovation and change appropriate for the organization.

School Uniform: Reasons, Discussion, Decision Making

Innovation and change are phenomenons any time. Within the scope of the Theory and Prac- tice of School Management module, the theses deals with management of a specific change, namely introduction of school uniforms into practice. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on relevant specialized literature on school management, marketing strategy, school culture and change management. It is completed with available foreign experience and con- clusions of surveys and research of media image, which is playing an important role in respect with the issue. The practical part, i.e. research, provides information and data obtained by the author from interviews with management of schools currently introducing school uniforms. The research results show that the original expectations have not been met in any of the pro- jects included. Understanding the cause of this failure, or else, partial success of the projects, constitutes an important part of the information summary designed for school headmasters considering introduction of school uniforms. The generalized research findings combined with theoretical knowledge imply a set of key recommendations introduced in the thesis con- clusion.
Preparedness of Finnish Education System to Curricula Reform

This thesis introduces a topic of current educational reform in Finland. The main goal is to describe a process of implementation of current curricula reform in Finland and evaluate a preparedness of teachers, students of teacher education and management of curricula to curricula reform. In theoretical part, we define "curriculum" and "curriculum reform", then we briefly introduce change management, reasons for successful or unsuccessful reform and specifics of finnish education system. The research part analyses the Finnish National Core Curriculum from 2004 and 2014 in detail. It also analyses interview with teachers, students of teacher education and management of reform. Based on research part of the thesis, we can say that teachers and students have been prepared in a field of knowledge, however they have not been prepared for implementing the ideas of reform into their everyday teaching. The management of reform has been prepared for implementation. Management includes teacher and other stakeholders into creating of the new curricula, the reform is communicated and finances for the reform are secured. Conclusion of the thesis summerize answers for research questions and brings recommendations for a further research.

Process of adaptation is an important period of a life cycle of an employee in every organization. This period, during which the employee is getting to know the organization, its culture, role, colleagues, and their own workload, often determines whether the employee stays with the organization or not. It is a difficult period, the employee is acquiring new skills and know-hows and adjusting to a new colleagues and environment. The difficulty of this period can be lowered with a well set and professionally managed systematic onboarding process. Onboarding process is what this thesis focuses on, it engages with general aspects as well as with evaluation of the onboarding process in a home organization of the author of this thesis. Said organization sees an onboarding manual as an important part of the adaptation process. A draft of such manual is a part of this thesis. Theoretical part of the thesis introduces fundamental fields necessary for complex understanding of the issues of training of new employees in organizations. The themes of adaptation and onboarding process are also introduced as well as education of new employees and mentoring as one of the education methods. Changing the image of maternity hospital in the system of maternity care in the Czech republic

This theses deals with leading change in the specific organization, gynecologycal obstetrician department. The main aim of this theses is to evaluate leading of this change from the manager point of view and also to evaluate its sustainibility in the organization. I was focused on the research of the proces and execution of this specific change. It was the change from the clasiccal model of obsetrics to the respectfull model of obstetrics with using alternative methods and support of the natural birth. I used the qualitative research methods, patricipating observation. I created the summary of the proces of the change and underlined the found problematic parts from the field notes, interview and analysis of social networks. I managed to answer all asked questions and evaluate the process of change and its sustainability. At the end I offered a practical guide of the specific change as a tool for other organizactions. Mgr. Šárka Kovaříková ABSTRACT The organization's success and development can be observed from different views and also judged with many different parameters. Basically, We can say that if an organization has developed successfully, many changes in process have been done in the past. The organization's management should be well versed regarding changes expected in the future. The authour of this diploma thesis deals with the issues of management changes based on practical experience dealing with the social enterprise PROCESIA Zlin s.r.o. This enterprise was established in 2011 as a civil association. Since the founding many changes in process where needed. There were indicated a need for changes in the organization structure. During interviews with workers it was found a need to change the competences of the workers. The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe managament process in PROCESIA's organizational structure. Description of change is written in recommendation form, which should help management of organization reveal inconsistent competences among employees and help to improve perfomance of organization.
